Lake Manyara National Park Safari

After breakfast, you will be met by our professional tour guide/driver for a brief safari information session. We will then travel west towards the Great Rift Valley and Lake Manyara National Park. Our route takes us through the vibrant town of Mto Wa Mbu, known for its bustling markets and numerous souvenir vendors.

Lake Manyara National Park is renowned for its dramatic location, featuring a large, shallow soda lake that covers two-thirds of the park, nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment. The park's diverse habitats are home to a range of wildlife, including one of Africa's most densely populated herds of elephants, the park's famous tree-climbing lions, and large flocks of flamingos attracted by the algae in the lake.

 

We will enjoy a picnic lunch within the park and embark on two exciting game drives—one in the morning and one in the afternoon—searching for the elusive tree-climbing lions and other wildlife. In the late afternoon, we will return to Moshi/Arusha, concluding our safari adventure.
