Tarangire, Serengeti & Ngorongoro Crater Itinerary

Day 1: Departure to Tarangire National Park
Depart from Moshi Town early in the morning for Tarangire National Park. Enjoy a full day game drive in Tarangire National Park, known for its large herds of elephants and baobab trees. Later in the day, travel to Karatu for overnight accommodation.

Day 2: Travel to Serengeti National Park
Depart from Karatu and travel to Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy scenic views along the way before arriving at Serengeti National Park. Check into your accommodation and consider an optional evening game drive to start your Serengeti experience.

Day 3-4: Explore Serengeti National Park
Spend two full days exploring the vast plains of Serengeti National Park. Embark on morning and afternoon game drives to witness the incredible diversity of wildlife, including the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhinoceros). Take advantage of optional activities such as hot air balloon safaris or guided nature walks to enhance your safari experience.

Explore Ngorongoro Crater with a morning game drive, offering the chance to see a wide variety of wildlife in a stunning natural setting. After lunch, begin the journey back to Moshi Town, reflecting on the unforgettable experiences of your safari adventure. The following are services included and excluded in standard 6D5N packages:

A 6D5N (6-day, 5-night) safari includes the following:

  • Transportation: A private 4x4 vehicle with a driver/guide

  • Park fees: Entrance fees for the national park(s) included in the itinerary

  • Accommodation: Five night stay at a lodge, tented camp or campsite, depending on the chosen package

  • Meals: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are usually included in the package, except for the first day's breakfast and the last day's dinner

  • Game drives: Safari game drives within the park(s) included in the itinerary, accompanied by a knowledgeable guide

  • Bottled water: Drinking water is usually provided throughout the safari
